Balyett is a late Victorian country house which enjoys a luxuriously large interior. Built in the late 1800s and a family home to the Parker family ever since. The gardens are well tended with plenty of opportunities for spending an evening watching the boats go by from the front of the house. All our rooms are decorated to a high standard with nice touches.

No Smoking
Our B&B, as a building open to the public, has a legal duty to provide a safe working environment for it's staff and visitors. There is now a Smoking Ban in place and a majority of people in the United Kingdom who do not smoke and who increasingly believe that their health is at risk when their environment is polluted with tobacco smoke. The objective of the No Smoking Policy is to establish a healthy environment for all staff and visitors and its success depends upon the consideration and co-operation of both smokers and non-smokers.

Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms, corridors, public rooms and lavatories. Smoke alarms are fitted where necessary. Anyone found smoking in a guest room will be charged the cost to clean the room for subsequent guests.
